CRO-2 preview

I just deleted this page so start again! Pah! Its modular in that there are seperate modules to purchase. Thus far only done the top module that handles power socket and output and has a VCA and a preamp for the output level to be boosted, a low pass filter which has an insert path for the resonance and a ringmod with preamps. Its only available to CRO-1 users for now as it needs oscillators and envelope etc to give some modulation sources at the least (the CRO-1 has these).

There is a VC delay to follow and various other modules that I have worked out but not yet put onto a printed circuit board etc. The VC delay should be along relatively shortly and is my favourite thing so far. Hopefully it will remain so when I put it onto a PCB, ie hopefully I have done it right!

These initial parts ie modules and box etc would be £80, but I can sell the first five for the mind blowing discount of £75 (I might have said £70 to some but that could be stretching it and my time in making stuff is still very cheap). Thats £25 for the box + psu + top module as mentioned above, £25 for the filter and £30 for the ringmod + preamps. The VC delay is most likely going to be £40 as its a more complex time consuming one to make).

A FEW PICS AND SOUNDS....

Here I used the ouput of the filter resonance as a input to the CRO-1 gate on osc 4. Seems to cause some interesting things to happen. I had to feed it in through the CRo-1 bolt to audio interface, but I am thinking I might add a bolt to the module (correction I will do this to the finished product) so that you can have the filters resonance path as a wierd modulation output at least for the oscillator gate inputs anyway!



These ones are some guitar being ring modded and filtered with some cro-1 modulations etc. The second one has the guitar mixed a bit low I suppose. I shall post up some more sounds when I have had more time to experiment.
